In the earliest days there was a proud holy race of giant strapping warriors named the D'arak Kai, whose eventual warrior battlings slowly corroded their minds and spirit, causing their outward appearane to change to something monstrous. The Draconians would further this decline by altering them to grow tusks and even to devolve down to a beast on all four level.

As a result it was forbidden for the D'arak Kai to interact with their lesser brethren, which could not even pronounce the complex name for their race and it got shortened to "orc". Unfortunately some who were already lovers had to watch their lovers start to degrade and could not bear to let them go and intensely and defiantly resisted this form of persecution. It would start by a slow spread of green across the skin and sometimes the hair colour would change to red or black. This D'arak Kai fiercely embraces his "turning" brethren.
