Personally, I like her a lot the way she is. Looking at the other pictures of her from the original artist, though, I suppose her skin could be darkened more if you want to make her more faithful to the original. I'd ask the owner what they think.

If you do change her skin tone, I'd leave her palms and soles the same, though. People with darker skin tend to have lighter shades in those areas. It could be fun to experiment with.
