Sexy. I like how the blade neatly fits into the silloute and fulls up the gap under the barrel.

As already said shadows are not working that well but nice piece though.

Awesome model!

I'm very new to modeling, but I love your design and attention to detail.

I agree with Mayagician; great design

My constructive crits; try to round your edges (use bevels) when modeling. Look at photo’s of guns; The edges are not hard but soft. Also when lighting your scene, round edges gives you a more natural fluid look of the guns steel effect. BTW; when using lights, give just one of the lights a shadow (perhaps area shadow?) option - disable the shadow option given by the second light. I see a double shadow now and that looks a bit disturbing. For a more convincing look of the chrome material try using a HDRI dome. Hope you can do something with this! Keep up the good work

Love the look and design mate

Although if you don't mind a few crits, there is so much detail in the guns, yet I feel the handles might be lacking a little detail? Also the shadows are a little sharp and jaggy, maybe only having shadows cast from one light and adding a little bit of softness might really help.

I'm usually not a fan of symmetrical compositions, but it really worked in your favour in this shot, so kudos!

I like the design ... you might want to see a similar weapon I made in my gallery, however you are getting artifacts in the blade... i think a vertex is not flush with the rest of the blade there.... its right near the tip on both of the mirrored guns?

Thanks. The artifacts are actually due to a quickslice i did for some reason or another i cant remember. I think i might just photoshop that out when i get a chance.

No, actually I was just modeling a revolver from a couple of reference images, and then it looksed like a good place to put a knife.

oh ok cool. im doing 3d modeling myself and its going ok so far.
i might ask you a few questions some time. 3-d modeling is so extensive, i dont know what half the functions are in maya. i know alot, but with time i'll learn the importance of every tool.

thank your and maya 3dsmax are very similar, similar user interface and tools. BTW i think they are both made by autodesk im not sure.
