I didn't *miss* the "draw a romantic pony/draw a pony on a date" prompt, but I didn't exactly put myself out when I submitted my last-minute, minimalist crayon drawing for it, so here's something that, well, still looks like a ten-year-old drew it, but he took a little more time at least. My sometimes headcanon goes that when Rainbow Dash first met AJ she developed an unrequited crush on her. Here she is volunteering to help on the farm in order to spend some quality time with the apple horse. I apologize for this scandalous imagery, but, you know, sorry not sorry.

I do wish I could have executed this a little better, though. I will probably stick with digital art from now on... ctrl+z would have been nice to have after I botched Dash's face. Well, now I have a prime candidate for one of those 'redraw an old picture' things.
