....a sequence commissioned by EndWar1945.I wasn't familiar with the character, but apparently she has a southern accent, which is just darling. Bless her heart. I don't think i've ever actually tasted molasses, but i imagine it's rather sweet. Have you ever had the sweet tea they have in the South? Liquid diabetes, they call it. Never, ever consume it.

Actually I'd say it is more that she is equal parts candy, and carbon based life. To be plain it's like Sari Sumdac from Transformers Animated, Sari is human because her DNA is fused into the Protoform her father found. I am quite certain in Sari's case she could have kids one day (I mean she went from 12 to 16 thanks to the key but she is still a 12 year old so that isn't on her mind yet) and her kids would be part Cybertronian too maybe a lot less than she is like maybe one of their hands is not covered by skin and give them the look of a Prosthetic limb even though it is fully organic and functions perfectly normal.
Not saying it is absolutely possible but I'd not rule it out in a super hero world, the fact that her body stayed together and didn't just become a puddle is quite the miracle and if I know my chemistry (Which is not that much but I know certain things contain what elements) sugar is mostly carbon so she is still carbon based (It is also possible if she concentrates hard enough that her make up will become diamond the hardest form of Carbon) lets face it it isn't the exactly the worst thing on the net and I'm not trying to add fire to a fetish.
I am simply posting my view on the possibility that well..... she still has those bits somewhere, her default form was humanoid after all. That is all again it is up to the creator of the character, but again in a comic about super powered people never rule out such things.

Fair enough, Hmm a alternate way to pass on her genes (and just here me out) maybe she has just enough bacterial DNA in her that she can go through Mitosis. No mess and really excess sugar (assuming she still needs to eat) would cause her to destabilize again.
Again just a thought, like you said you're not fond of the idea of "Sugar babies" and that is fine too. Honestly I am doing something different for a project giving a species that have both male and female members but have no reproductive systems and the main writer for that series hates the idea of normal means of reproduction I got creative, basically the parents (Can be any gender here since it is mostly aesthetic) channel a bit of their life energy into a mask (This is Bionicle fic I'm working on) and it grows into a newly built/born fully aware but in need of education.
I do hope that I have not come off rude, or annoying just exchanging ideas is all. You call the shots on your character so do as you wish, I merely wish to inspire.
