Hehe, this reminds me of the card I got my brother last year. Something along the lines of pinatas on graduation day from pinata school. One of them asked, I wonder what happens next??? Tragic, and yet, morbidly funny. I think that's what I find so intriguing about them, we make them in the shapes of things we love and beat them till they bleed candy. Somehow, the candy is just worth it enough we forget what we destroyed.

I agree that a pinata seems tragic, especially when it's cute -- But there's some solace in knowing that it was created for joy and destroyed in joy. That's not a bad destiny

My parents always went out of our way to buy none animal shaped pinatas. Since hitting a poor donkey seemed a tad cruel. Love the lay out of this piece, simply lovely.
