The way you've drawn this suggests to me that the fox is turning round and round, like a flaming wheel. It makes me think of other flaming wheels (Ixion, Ezekiel, etc.), all of which probably go back to archetypal images of the sun. If the fox is a personal symbol, then this is a really nice image of pushing back the darkness that sometimes threatens to engulf us. Excellent work!

I tried mixing in some cool colors to add a little tension, but mostly warm. It's so chilly. I'm ready for spring and I think it shows in my drawings!
