Sharpie brand all kinds. Loads of neons(highlighters) retractable kind , regular broad tip. It is a must to have a FINE tip black. But I have broad and fine in every color and still i use mainly broad ones and just black fine for little details.
I am not sure how long it took. I have three kids so I would do some and then go back to it but I think a few days cuz I just let it flow,I didn't plan it out ahead. so I just make marks and see where it takes me .LOL
Sorry for such the delay on this ..I totally forgot about DA account I had . I'm gonna try to be on it more

Thank you. The sharpie A image was first ever attempt at a full sharpie art work piece.
I had a ton of foam boards and Sharpies in my stock of supplies and just decided to use them.
I found I enjoyed it and decided to keep on going with it.
Glad you enjoyed.
I am currently working on filling a canvas with using only henna paste.

Oh cool! ^ ^ It is very good for your first try at it! I would not have thought so!
Oh really?? I'd love to see it when you're done! I myself enjoy putting henna on my hands.

I usually make a batch of at least 4-5 oz of henna paste when I do henna parties, I make so much so I know I'll have plenty.
SInce I have so much henna powder I don't freeze my extra for later use. I usually would use out the extra on plain copy paper
just to play around with different designs.
It just so happened this time around I found a canvas still in my basement and thought it would make for cool piece to put up once done.
I will see if I like it once it is all done though. LOL
I'll post it either way.

Henna paste will stain paper , canvas , wood and different types of surfaces a nice brown. On the skin it varies because it
reacts to each person PH balance differently. And on the skin since it is a living thing does fade over a time whereas on the
canvas , wood paper and such it does not have that problem to contend with and remains stained. You don't even have to peel
the paste off it you don't want to. It basically will stay intact unless you handle it alot and it flakes, but you will still have a nice rich brown stain.
As for charging for henna parties, you can call around to other people and get quotes to see what the "going" charge is . e
Deferent areas charge differently. Here about $150 an hour is the norm hourly rate.
