Guess what I went to see on Monday night???

The Day of the Doctor was a wonderful experience. I'm afraid I can't be much of a critic right now, since I'm still starstruck with the show itself. What was really amazing was being able to take my friend who has been away at college in Indiana, and had come back for Thanksgiving break. She dressed as the Tenth, and I as the Eleventh. We were nothing short of amazing.

We would have been more amazing if I could have convinced my brother to dress as the Ninth...but alas, some things are not to be. *sniff sniff*

I had the distinct pleasure of being the one to belt out "GERONIMO!!!" at the top of my lungs right as the lights were going down.

So here's a celebratory cartoon! I need to cartoon more. It's so much fun. My friend and I always joked about what we would do if the Doctors came over. The answer is always "Watch Doctor Who with them!!!" Not to say the situation wouldn't escalate...here I am trying to shove my very put-out black bunny rabbit in Tenth's face, and my friend trying to steal Eleventh's screwdriver. (She did steal my screwdriver several times...) And of course we have our starry-eyed fangirl faces on.

The line art is done with my trustie Sharpie, and the coloring is with my very sad pseudo-collection of colored pencils. Except for the black parts, which are done with my charcoal pencil, because I appear to have lost my black colored pencil! Oh, and the skin tones are done with crayon...because I also have lost my flesh-toned color pencil. I think it turned out passably nonetheless.
