This is one in a series of emblems that I did awhile ago from the Legacy of Kain series. Kain is the vampire lord of Nosgoth and the first immortal balance guardian in thousands of year.Art © Chryssta (ME)

Really tribal work done I really like it! I was wondering if I may use these for a back piece I'm getting for some tattoos... I've read other comments and I understand your rules so far (Trust me I have no intent on making any changes to these marvelous pieces

Lemme see if I understand what you're saying. You wanna use Kain as part of a larger tattoo? Or do you mean Kain and his sons? Do you have a plan to how you were going to lay out this tattoo idea?
I'm not against you using the art, just curious how you wanna set it up. I'm always a bit curious about how people design their tattoo ideas. ^_^

My idea is I want the sigil of Kain on the back of my neck Raziel's just under it and the rest of the sons in order going down the spine.

Freaking....epic....this might be my tattoo, honestly. Always wanted to put the Kain Family symbol on my somewhere...might be a bit more painful, but this tribal work...it'd be worth it!

That red was actually taken from shades of the clan symbol straight from the game. *nodding like a nerd*

Soul Reaver was my first PS1 game. I still wish they'd actually make another LoK game, something to maybe tie all the loose ends that the other 5 games left dangling...

True enough. They either hire great guys for it, or, get as close to the originals as they can get.

They'd be able to get Kain and Raziel's voices, I'm sure, since they both still do voice acting. It'd be the others that might be harder to find. Then again, no one really knows the brother's voices as well as Kain or Raziel anyway...
My beef with the series is that you don't get to see the time between Blood Omen 2 and Soul Reaver 1. They just tell you Kain has kids and that his kids have kids and they pit the fledglings against each other for sport. It'd be nice to see a game around that.
And they could do it without the Elder God (which would be good since he died after/during Defiance's production).

So true. It's a gap that needs to be addressed. I would like to know the exact reason why that happened like that and see some development time with the children. Maybe some kind of ill-gotten vengeance story in their too for the mistreatment? Be pretty sweet.

I sense the dead and cemeteries are peaceful to me, otherwise, not really. Just named a couple of my faves. I love the night, not a big fan of the sun, black, red, and purple are my fave colors.

Vorador's symbol is the dragon on the back of his cloak in SR2 (or whichever one that Raziel meets him in the bloody swamps). It's the snake dragon doohickey. You can see it tribalized on the 'featured submissions' thing on my profile page.
I only liked Vorador's over anyone elses because it was a dragon... I luffle draggies. For epic coolness factor, it would be Kain's. Then again, if he were real, he'd demand it be his or you lose your head... ^_~

Technically, it is a tattoo... I mean, it could easily be used as such... Or do you mean that you'd want to see the pieces bigger so the image could be smaller for a tattoo? Meh, either way, it's still tattoo style art...

Well, I used the colors from the game for his banner. Otherwise, like the other pieces I upload, it would have been dark red with black filling. But I figured, since I had the banner for him, I could use his official colors...
