Technical notes: EDIT: There was sucky filtered rain here. It's gone now. Can anyone point me to a good rain tutorial (for photoshop 7) that doesn't just rely on filters?
Also, painting the slime was tedious and annoying. -_-

Thus the age-old question, "how did Dr. Marcus/the leech queen learn to sing like that?" is answered.

Hey c'mon, you guys should know to expect this kind of insanity from me by now.

I always knew, vaguely, that Marcus' character design was pretty ridiculous, but I didn't realize how ridiculous until I looked up referance photos for him. I mean... geeze , people aren't kidding when they say he looks like he stepped out of final fantasy. (and that wide-eyed stare is really creepy o_o)

But hey, what's not to love about a resurrected mad scientist whose operatic singing can make flesh-eating zombie leeches rain from the sky?

I'm amused that the moment my style changes to include noses, I draw Erik. Who in book canon has no nose. XD Also, he's in Webber garb here because masks aren't very emotive.
