Description Here's another one of the cover Ale Garza and I 'jammed' on for Gen 13... we did about five or six of these, and I am pretty damn happy with the way they all came out.

Ale would give me a rough layout, and I would go in and draw the finishes at the inking stage, then, we'd have the amazing Mr Archer do his thang' on the colors.

The original idea was to do a style that was VERY much inspired by Hewlett, and do an obvious homage to Tank Girl (specially with this one) ...it'd be pretty fun to draw a whole issue in this style, hopefully we'll get our chance one of these days.

I loved Garza and your work on Gen13, it was a breath of fresh air on the series.

This piece has a great Tank Girl, "Dirty Harry" feel to it!

Hey Chuckdee, I know this is completely out of topic, but I wanted to ask you, are you the author of this: [link] ?

That's excellent!! Then I get the chance to tell the author of that drawing what I think of it! You know, I am quite a fan of the Riddler, and as such, I have seen dozens and dozens of different authors having their take at depicting that character. Of all the many, many illustrations of Edward Nigma that I have seen.... my personal favorite is THIS ONE. It's the one drawing that I look at, and amazingly it just matches exactly my own mental image of that character!!
So, that's all. I'm quite glad I got the chance to tell the author that, above all the many different images that I saw, I personally consider that one to be THE image of Edward Nigma.

i love the lineart,- smooth and clean...
...dont like how the rifle is cut of at the left, and something about the color bugs me-maybe a bit to much blackvalues for my taste also the tanks barrel would be differently affected by the light(/radial gradient)which confuses the plane of depth a bit, disturbing the relation between the tank and the soldiers sitting on it(...but you didnt color anyways, so maybe im telling the wrong guy...)
...still pretty darn impressive!
keep em coming!
