Ehem, intriguingly, and mostly in a surprise manner, the fifth series of Kitaro was the first time ever to possess the sacred power that merges with the Youkai blood while battling with other yet stronger foes. As you guys may wondering, or maybe so dang worried, by the time Kitaro (Takayama) was suffered with a life-sucking curse by the monster mummy, Balmond, with one of his deadly attacks, Kitaro is seemed to be weakening fast to the point he was almost died in extreme exhaustion. Until a mysterious blue-haired girl named Myu, giving this youkai kid some kind of incredible legendary 'chi' in a shape of... I dunno what it is, most of Japanese dudes believed this thing may have life-regeneration ability (as if to make him undefeatable, or shall we say, immortality), but also from the deep inside there has some mysterious power which can assume the form that no one else has ever seen before...
