The white jacket is made of "Köper" (I don´t know the english-name, sorry) and the black lines and crosses are made out of black leather.
I bought the pants. As well as the hat, and put the yellow threads on

Ah, Köper is "twill" 8D <3 That's very helpful, thank you <3 Hm...what kind of threads were used for the tassel? On the hat? o: I've seen other people use wig hair and attach it on...but that's seeming a little....I'm not even sure. It's not a bad idea but to keep it all together..x'D <3

I´m alwas thinking the tassel (yeah I´ve learned a new word! *happy*) was some kind of thing from a pillow, or sometimes those tassels were used for curtains ... x3~
Back to your question:
I used very thick threads which were actually used for embroidery. They´re heavy enough to hanging nice down, and swinging if you move your head ((^.^))

the clothing underneath the jacket, was it made of a different material or the same as the jacket? Or am I confused and that is part of his jacket? o - o

The shirt under the white jacket is made of thick black cotton, and the white stripes around the edges are made from the same white twill I used for the jacket

The jacket and the shirt are all selfmade.
I tryed to sew the hat, too, but it didn´t work how I wanted it to! >.< so I buyed it and took the blue pearl and the yellow-thingy on it.
And the pants were also buyed, because I don´t like sewing pants >-< and it wasn´t needful

We were on a big anime-manga-convention in Kassel (in Germany) and were just sitting around and have some snacks in front of a church near the convention-area. Before that, we had a D.Gray-Man-photoshooting around the chirch, sadly we´re not allowed to walk insinde the chirch u.u
On this day I bought the Timmy-plush at the con ;D

Yeah, there are. The most cons are regional fan-meetings, they are once a month in various citys in Germany. I´m visiting only the big cons, like the Leipziger book fair, Connichi in Kassel, AnimagiC in Bonn. Because there are much more people, shops, showgroups and fancircle-photoshootings ^-^ it´s more profitable.

No, I didn´t sell anything by myself at a con. But I draw a manga, the manga is published by Carlsen Comics, a big publisher in Germany ^^ and this manga was selled, at some cons ^.^ *joy*

No, the story is different to the original Aladin, and translated in german the title is called "aladins heiress"
