Quicky headshots~ Texture coloring to make my life more difficult
I want to set colors of Naito and Rei from a story I'm randomly drawing called PREY. It is suppose to be a dark story but I can't help putting bright colors and the story too...I can never write something serious all the way through orz
I think they're straight~

Do you use Paint Tool SAI? If you do, it's the option they give for your brushes in the drop down menus - the first drop down menu changes brush shape, the second drop down menu is brush textures. They are basically simular to these [link]
If you set a texture for your brush, when you color it will have those grainy texture effect...like pattern stamps in photoshop but with more control XD
It makes more sense if you try play around with the options. Hope that wasn't too confusing XD

Yeah...it is one of my biggest weakness in drawing

I do all digital using SAI, sometimes use PS to adjust
It works very well with tablet, nice brush options and texture control
