The mottling is known as "dappling" which can come out with certain types of feeds such as "Apple cider vinegar" and other products It is an awesome coloured horse

Wow...my buckskin had some dappling but it was nothing like this....hum...apple cider vinager you say...I might just have ta try that with my smokey black...her dapples are there but shadowed like the ghost spots on a black leapard. Would love to bring them out more!!

Yeah not sure how it goes for darker coloured horses I only used it on a liver chestnut horse that brought out the dapples
