May 2009. Charcoal (vine, compressed, and white) on charcoal pad paper. 18" x 24". From referenced commercial photograph.Analysis of Form class final portrait, about 9 hours. I needed to take much more time (instructor Haga specified 40-50!), but preparations for good friend Sujit's wedding took priority. Unrefined, but conveyed the main idea.

It is great hearing that one's work is enjoyed! As an artist who has very low initiative (and generally avoids any kind of work), it is definitely motivating to see so many people appreciate the effort!
I will try to post more original work soon. I prefer to create new pieces, rather than directly reproduce -- even if it is still an interpretation. So be patient as I finish and start some totally original pieces, and finish up some drawings that are already in my gallery. And Fulkrum, of course I don't mind the exposure! Thanks for letting giving me the heads up!
