Here is my own idea of what if Bowser and Princess Peach, from the new movie, say similar quote as from God Of War Ragnarok. The first similar fact is that in God Of War (2018) and Ragnarok, Odin the tyrant of Aesir have been known to be as great enemy to Freya, leader of the Vanir, causing great war between Aesir and Vanir, just as like how Bowser have mentioned that he and his troops were sworn enemies to Princess Peach and her kingdom. Second similar facts was that Odin and Freya were being in arranged marriage as it seems that it can prevent more bloodshed between Aesir and Vanir, but this could make Odin take advantage on Freya so he can her magic knowledge and power for his own cruel tyrant ways, just as like how Bowser try to propose to Princess Peach to marry him so he could rule all the Mushroom Kingdom and the entire world with his iron fist, even though Bowser and Peach were not as ex-couple compare to Odin and Freya. The third similar fact was that during the final battle in game, Odin have been known to have no problem to hit and attack Freya, just as how Bowser seem to have no problem attacking Princess Peach during the final battle in movie. And the last similar fact was that in GOW game, Odin usually keep calling Freya “Frigg”, just as how Bowser usually keep calling Princess Peach “Peach”. In case you not sure what the quotes that those characters spoke inspired of, Bowser was inspired of Odin while Princess Peach was inspired of Freya.
