Fascinating! I stared at this piece for a long time. It drew me in and I couldn't look away. Like your last piece, it pops. All your works have depth but the latest two are really wild because of their abstractness. You do such amazing things with this medium. I hope you continue.

Oh huzzah! An update from you. ^^ It looks so very organic and flowy - the colours kind of make my head hurt, it's like they all kind of blend together but they're all different. What kind of paper do you use? I've never been able to get that kind of look from my prismas. >>
So pretty! <3 ^^ I love it when you update, your work is so very fascinating.

I think this is on stonehenge, i'm doing a lot of drawings like these right now, some are on rives bfk, some on arches cover, some on the domestic etch available from graphic chem. and stephen kinsella. These start out as nonobjective shape - in this case, a brush/finger painting with powdered rust and graphite, then i seal it down with a tinted transparent monotype, the oily ink primes the paper well for the prismacolor, then i do layers of prismacolor and colored or clear monotype glazes, either flat or with stuff drawn into them. Look for a lot of this new stuff as i finish and photograph it, generally new work will go up on my website first, then here when i get to it.
