vicki is an ex-journalist/conspiracy theorist/ufologist and she moves around canada/usa/mexico following stories of reported ufo sightings
so for the most part she lives out of the back of her van and travels light
her other belongings are spread out through her parents' and friends' homes where she crashes from time to time
the only necessities she really keeps on hand are a sleeping bag, a duffle bag full of clothes/toiletries, and her bass guitar
also she has a bunch of newspaper clippings and overdue library books stashed away
