This is me and my girlfriend in cosplay at Yaoicon '08, as Yazoo and Loz (respectively) from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (she's Loz, I'm Yazoo). Actually, we weren't romantically involved at that point, but that certainly didn't stop us from sucking face (and worse) all over the rental car!All the credit here goes to my girlfriend - she made both costumes, I just wore one. (She doesn't have a dA account, though.) The Loz costume is all leather, but Yazoo is vinyl, hence the slight difference in appearance.
We got a few more pictures at the same time as this one, but they need to be resized and whatnot before posting, and that takes effort. XD

I suppose by yaoi stereotypes you'd think Loz would be seme, since he's taller, older, and buffer... but I really don't think they have a seme/uke relationship. Technically they're both Kadaj's ukes anyway. XD But I think they'd switch with each other. Loz probably ends up doing the penetration more often than not, but it's Yazoo who's emotionally and psychologically in control. Loz just doesn't have a dominant personality, particularly not with his brothers. And as for Yazoo being sweet... where'd you get THAT idea? XD Yazoo has more tact than Loz or Kadaj, but he'd kill you just as dead.

I think the most difficult part of the costume would be figuring out the design and molding the shoulder bits - the base is just a leather jacket. (If cost is an issue, you could do a practice run in vinyl.)
You could also go straight to the source and talk to my girlfriend about how she made hers: - she also takes cosplay commissions. *shamelessly pimping her new business*

Actually, my Loz has the ringtone from Advent Children on her phone, so every time someone called, all the FF7 fans around us would turn and look. XD It was great.

I wish someone had videotaped the FF7 meet - we got there late, but the minute we walked in, everyone turned and gave us this "oh hell no" look (we were the only SHM there). And one of the Rufus cosplayers started making "yo mama" jokes. XD

Lol XDD One time my boyfriend was cosplaying Sephiroth ( I was Kadaj lol )and I kid you not, as soon as we walked in, someone's cell or MP3 or whatever, started playing the FF7 Win Battle theme ( or whatever it's called )

And here I was fairly certain that no one wanted anything at all to do with me what so ever seeing as my associates bolted like a bat out of hell once I broke off my severely burned ties with 'them'.
It's nearly been 3 weeks and I'm still a ball of rage and tears. Hard to forget when your own disorders are rubbed in your face like you actually have control over them, esp when people aren't helping at all.
Also I just recently had it 'broken very gently' to me that I have DID, so I'm uh in a bit of a bad mood because of that right now. I do not like the idea of not having control... even though everything associated with that stupid p.o.s. fits me precisely... fml.
Uh, to chat at me you have to do it here or Windows Live Messenger... I only use a private one in which I talk to all of 3 people on.
I abandoned almost everything I used to do every day after the shit with the trolls, flamers, and then 'them' in the same fucking week.
I lost my desire and will to do anything I used to love.
