Hey guys..I've been on hiatus for the last 7 weeks...seven weeks since my brother passed away. I've been taking this time to recollect and be there for my family and for myself. I'm still in disbelief and will be for a while, but today is a special kind of hard with it being the first Mother's Day without him.

I made this artwork for my Mom, a Memorial Cardinal surrounded by symbolic flowers of mourning and hope. The saying goes that when you see a cardinal, it is a visitor from Heaven, a loved one passed who has come to let you know it's going to be ok.

I gave my Mom this original print, but I plan to make a version of these cardinals into keychains that can be carried with you wherever you go, so that you can be reminded that these loved ones will always be there with you.

Hopefully I can get more info on preorders out soon as I think I'm ready to end my hiatus and start posting again. Happy Mothers Day, my heart goes out to those who find this a day of sadness rather than joy. ♡
