Leo and Anita's place, 07:00 AM.

Leo looks at his watch, briefly looking away from the last book his girlfriend gave him.

Leo - "Anita, you're going to be late!"

*In the bedroom there is no answer. Since waking up, Leo left Anita alone to change for her latest appointment: she had been hired as a professional cosplayer for the local Comic Con. It would be her great debut! She hadn't told which character she would play, though. It was a surprise.*

Leo - "Anita? Are you all right?
*Leo knocked on the door, already worried. Of course women live in a different space-time from men and see hours as if they were minutes, but still...*
Leo - "Honey?"
Anita - "I'm not going out!".
*Anita didn't open the door. Leo could tell she was leaning against the door, inside.*
Leo - "Anita, open the door. What happened?"
Anita - "I'm not going! I got the lamest role ever!"
Leo - "What do you mean, what's your character?"
Anita - "I auditioned like all the other girls. I know martial arts, I had drama lessons. I have thousands of hours of gameplay and I know everything there is to know about all the female characters from games and comics of the last decade... And they give me this character!"
Leo - "Anita ...".
Anita - "I tried to be the Wonder Woman, I tried to be Lara Croft, I even auditioned for Power Girl, I even bought a wig ..."
Leo - "Anita, in the name of God, get out of this room! Show yourself, it can't be that bad."
Anita - *sigh* - "Okay... Here I go".

*The bedroom door opens. Anita, with her head down and wrapped in a black cloak (but still wearing her trademark black leather boots), appears in front of her boyfriend. Leo waits to see what is so terrible under that cloak...*
Anita *half-heartly* - "TADAH!".

*Leo, not even recognizing the outfit right away, approved. He sat down on the couch, after all, for some reason all the blood had disappeared from his head... The upper head*.

Leo - "Ah ... Well ... You are ...".
Anita - "Vampirella. Basically, I'm a space vampire and this is normal attire on my native planet."
Leo - "I want to live on this planet already... But, what's wrong with your character, anyway?"
Anita - "Besides the fact that I'm almost naked?"
Leo - "Welcome to the world of superheroines".
Anita - "Rar rar... All the good roles had already been filled out, but they said I would be 'perfect' for this one."
Leo - "You said yourself that you know how to act and you know everything there is to know about comic book characters and video games, so what's the problem?"
Anita - "Don't you see? I only got that part because they wanted a 'hot girl.' That's all they looked at when they saw my audition."
Leo - "Again?".
Anita - "'Again' what?".
Leo - "That 'I'm so beautiful, it's a curse and I'll never be taken seriousluy because I'm so damn hot' thing?".
Anita - "You don't realize how this is awful to me..."
Leo - "Look at it in a purely practical perspective: you're going to make some good money just by standing there and looking pretty. In either way, you're just dressing as a fictional character, it doesn't reflects who or what you are, for Christ's sake".
Anita - "This is so humilliating".
Leo - "Anita, you're just starting. Chill the hell out. Do you think Ralph Fiennes enjoyed playing the Nazi villain in 'Schindler's List', that he could relate to that guy? I don't think so. But he made an awesome acting".
Anita - "I see your point, but there is no challenge on it. Like you said, I just have to stand there".
Leo - "And you wanted them to ask you to cure cancer? Come on, Anita, it's just a Comic Con. Once you make a name, perhaps you can get better roles in the future".
Anita - "You think so?".
Leo - "I have faith on you. Now go there and kill it".
Feeling encouraged, Anita gives Leo a tender kiss
Anita - "You always knows how to get me up".
Leo - "You too, babe. You too...".

I know you guys might be expecting something seasonal, something related to martial arts, canon Total Drama art (I still do it, even though it's rare now) or anything else... But sometimes I just need to strew out and draw some sexy things.
