..was all to slow.Out on an evening walk while at work, on a path new to us...
The buck was all of a sudden standing just infront of us on our path, appearing out of nowhere, still and watching us approach.
The time it took for me to react and get my camera up and ready was all to long for the buck. He was quicker and lunged out of the sun rays and over across the fields.
I managed to get a few half decent shots while it flew away over the growing crops.

Yes, it requires some tricky following with the camera, and high burstrate helps alot.
Out of maybe 20 shots, this one came out decently sharp, while 2-3 more was OK on parts of the deer other than the head.
A few more were followed correctly but had the focus off.

Been there. I figured there were lots of shots. Even so, finding one out 20 that was this good is still great.Β
