Character concept story by Sakripan & Ichi.
A mermaid born while a ray of sunshine impregnated her pearl, making her unable of any stealth hunting ability. She's so shiny that even her mermaids sisters can't stay too long beside her. Her own sight views became really bad because of her mutation, even her own environement can't bear her flashy light. So everyone flee at her come.

She was a REAL challenge. I didn't no at all how to make her shining effect both in air and in water (and make feel the difference), but I could not do her only in simple grey shades, so I have to do her in colors.
Beside it was my first time too with watercolor pencils, even if I mixed a lot of different media in the processus (because of choice AND mistake with some effect). I should have choose an appropriate paper for it. My bad.
If the result isn't really what I had expected for... I do like the colours, I'm have to say: I'm a bit surprised myself.

ps: I know, I know, Mermay was last month. I wasn't able to do her then, and I do have some others mermaids to do!
