He quelled his murderous fear for months.
Almost every evil deed he has done was done under Saya's provocation.
He ate human organs because of her killing his friend.
The whole Yoh things was Saya's idea, though I agree it was serious douchebaggery on both his and Saya's account.
One might even argue that pushing his friend into the well was Saya's idea.

No, douchebaggery would be like stealing Yoh's lunch-money for the rest of the year. What they did to her was more along the lines of sadism, but seeing how they don't think in those terms I guess you can just call it what Saya did; she gave herself and Fuminori a pet to play around with.

I wouldn't say he (Fuminori)'s a douchebag... You gotta put yourself in his shoes. Just imagine, all your friends turn into bloody, disgusting monsters. Everything "pleasant" you see, smell, taste, hear, and feel are all foul and disgusting. Your home is made up of guts, maggots, blood, and foul flesh. You sleep on a big pile of flesh and maggots. Furthermore, the only reason why you haven't committed suicide already is because of Saya, your only source of sanity. It's no big surprise that you'll do anything for her. A mixture of insanity and commitment will make you do some pretty fucked up things. There's a difference between mental instability and douchebaggery.
I'm into horror and macabre, so naturally I'm really into this kind of thing. I also really like romance. Saya no Uta kind of put those two together, so it was like a mental orgasm for me.
As for the picture...
