For this series about the most infamous evil mages around, I had to include the Elder Scrolls main antagonist that is

Jagar Tharn,
former Master Counselor, former Imperial Battlemage leading the Elder Council,
turned traitor during the reign of Uriel Septim VII, abducting the Emperor into Oblivion,
and through magic means reigning in his stead for 10 years.

Antagonist of Elder Scrolls 'Arena' then, but also 'Battlespire' and 'Shadowkey', the elf (-mer) wrought havoc throughout the Empire and contributed to the Fall of the Septim Dynasty.

Here with his Chaos Staff dressed in the green robes we see him wear in Arena.
