Description Recently the planet HD 40307g has been discovered. It is amazing to know that it is located in an habitable zone and with high chances of having water and cycles of day and night.

The planet has more or less the double of weight of the Earth, and it does not exist any reason for not having more or less the same weather as in Earth.

It is located at 42 light-years, so by the moment is the closest habitable planet.

Our next generation of Earth and Space telescopes for sure are going to take lots of photographies to this area.

But by the moment... this is my tribute for this science achievement

So exciting! I had not heard about this :3 The piece is absolutely STUNNING, and I love the integration of the natural sky phenomena-the eclipse and comets really add to it detail-wise to fill in the blank space without taking away from the work.

This is beautiful. This made my morning, at 2 am.

You mean the texture of the planet or what?

Is this real? Not the art but the discovery?

Pretty far away. And with our shuttles' current fuel tanks we won't be able to get there without running out.

By the moment it almost mission impossible to exit of our solar system, so we will need to wait until the nuclear fusion is ready, or to have other methods to travel around space, like using space elevators or electromagnetic catapults on places on space objects without atmosphere

Yes! I guess that in 20-30 years we are going to see lot of things
The moon has a lot of H3 which is a rare thing here on Earth, and the perfect fuel for nuclear fusion. In 20 years we are going to finish with the petrol reserves so the only choice for us is to use renewable energy, and the only chance for us is the nuclear fusion. So I guess that the main potencies are going to try to land on the moon and maybe make permanent bases there.

Who knows but isn't nuclear fusion hazardous?
