dont have to be so defensive about it= thats a compliment...
nothing is original ever in this day and age so theres always going to be something to remind someone of somethign else.
And for her to be reminded of something popular is a good thing, means the character is successful.
Also not being a dick but more than multiple arms= the attitude and fact is a spider also account of the resemblanceΒ

I'm being "defensive" because it's rude to tell people their characters remind them of others, and most artist state multiple times they don't like to hear that

People get offended why? It's not like your stealing amother character and again nothing is original. I find it to be a complliment that people can relate my work to something they like.Β
I don't see how it's rude ....I even say sometimes to other people wothbonyx gems " oh wow our gems are so Mich alike we should fuse sometime!"Β

Because half the time people ARE accusing you of stealing their characters, and because people works hard in their characters. They don't want people to say "oh your character is just like this one"
You might not be offended by it, but respect artists who don't want to hear things like that.
I don't want to hear it and neither do most friends. That is the end of that.
