Description
Everything here is Binary, can you find them? (Computer science influence >.< )The society, run by machines,
is so very powerful,
yet it hangs upon a thin wire,
threatening the order of the world.
The Nature, embraced by living things,
are so very elegant, yet self destructive.
Homo sapiens, gifted with dreams,
seeks beyond what the world offers.
Flourishing the universe. Destroying the Universe.
Chaos, beauty,
as we continue to sleep within the circle of life.
I drew this when I was depressed due to university...
Now looking at this pic again after most of my final exams are over, I thought my mind went crazy... So I decided to colour the drawing with less...er, depressing colours. I don't want anyone to think I am crazy or something >w< I wasn't attempting to make things look beautiful, I only wanted to get what stress was lingering in my head out when I drew it. Sorry if it scares you *huggles you*
The lineart was done traditionally (cuz I am tablet lazy) with Sakura Mircron and Copic markers for darkshades.
Colour in SAI and Photoshop
Influences: XXXholic, Zemotion, Japanese paintings
One more exam to go, see you guys on Wednesday! Time to spam you guys with art (as if...)! Hopefully getting this piece out would mean I'll draw happier pictures from now on...

I like the imagery of duality and the whole appearance of this. I'm utterly in love with the face -- I really think the juxtaposition of the soft, feminine sakura and the hard, metallic cyborg is very interesting -- and the outline work in this. The colors and textures work well in this, too.
