i am going too! XD it will actually be useful for my comic as well cause its their final design, and if needs be, i can use these pictures for their reference sheets! (cause i want to make really comprehensive refs so people can check back with the characters if they need to, to justify things and find out back stories!)

sounds good! haha I was planning on making a series of drawings of all my comic characters and concepts and stuff to use for refs or something. And I'll be able to put them together in a lineup too. I would like to do some concepts though, and if I make a website, I can use the concepts for vote bait bonus. Or just submit them on DA. I don't know.

yeah, i really want to do a character line up! XD i've finished all my concepts, (huzzah!) but i didn't submit them! (they were too messy!) making a website would be really awesome though! i would go on your website! XDĀ

I really like the website for this comic www.minnasundberg.fi/artd.php but I would change the layout and some of the links/features/pages and obviously the artwork. I've thought about the website idea a bit, and I know what stuff I would include now.

and i haven't done background concepts yet, i have just done character ones! i was trying to get them to all look different and have enough little idiosyncrasies that i would be able to draw them in a similar way again! thats why i wanted to do a character line up, so i could really see if i actually got them to look different! XD

Haha I haven't really bothered to go into that in great detail. All my characters are different animal species for this one anyway. You could do a silhouette lineup above the normal one and see if you can tell the difference.

thats a really good idea! and yeah, i kind of have to cause all of my characters are cats :/ and it also would be very good for me to start establishing skills like that if i want to go into character design! but i need a font before i can start my line up! >

yeah, i made my own for that other comic i was thinking of doing. but its ok, i finally settled on one and i am happy with it c: also do you know the proper dimensions a comic page is supposed to be?

ok, how do you make your own font. I don't actually know.
I would just make the comic A5 I guess. Its better to be bigger anyway, cause then rescaling it will not decrease the quality.

haha its like the same as making your own brush, I'm pretty sure thats not the legit way but thats how i did it
