Ugh, I'm afraid to even look at how expensive the Mr. Game & Watch and Olimar Amiibos are. :/ I want those too.

Yeah.. The 3-Pack here came up to 50 dollars, retail price. I was expecting it to be 35 dollars like the Splatoon 3-Pack, but I guess not @___@
And uh, sure, here we go:
- Popopo, after Kirby’s development name
- Giga, named after a favourite musician of mine. Plus it just line sup well with 'mega'
- Houston, after where my godmother used to live / where I used to visit her. She ultimately introduced me to video games, and gave me my first consoles. She was a huge Pac-Man nut, and I have really fond memories of playing a ton of Pac-Man games with her as a kid
- Brie, because Greninja has a FUCKING CHEESEHEAD. That and, Brie originated in France (like most cheeses), which is where Greninja’s place of origin is based on
- Indy, as in Indelible Ink - Ink that isn’t easily washed away (lol I'm re-using ideas like an asshole)
- Jet, as in InkJet Printers
- Clyde, because with all these Ink puns, I got thinking of the PacMan ghosts - Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde (though Clyde is orange..)
- Cordata, after the species of the actual existing Pikmin Flower, Sutera Cordata. Includes “Dad” and ‘Data’ (depending on your pronunciation of it)
- Jones, as in Whatever Happened to Robot Jones.
- Papaya, because my family has a tradition of naming dogs after tropical fruit. Includes “Pup”
- Gnocchi, because the spelling makes me think of some mishmash of “Gemu & Uocchi”, the Japanese name/pronunciation of Game & Watch, though it’s pronounced “nyoh-kee”. It sounds really cute, though. I’ll probably have him use Chef a lot and limit the use of his Key attack, lol

Well, it's the most I've paid! I got all my amiibos at retail (though I had lined up at stores before opening to do so.. Worth it).
I got one of the last Greninjas and Splatoon 3-Packs at my local Toys R Us though, that was pretty scary.
And yeah! I'm not sure if I'm relieved that Olimar was easy to find, or kind of disappointed since he's one of my favourite characters, and seems to be pretty unpopular.
Yup! I take pride in my naming skills, lol. And yeah, same!
The only Amiibos I want now are additional G&W ones (one day I'd like to own 8 / one for every alt. skin), which I might see about importing if they show up any cheaper..

And psh, i don't think he's cheap because he might be unpopular, I think Nintendo's finally making better stock. Villager went down by like $60+ recently(lucky for me i got an original launch day one)
Even the Anniversary 8-bit Mario is affordable o: I was SURE that'd be sold out immediately

After Wave 1, we stopped getting preorders here to try and deter scalpers. Which I suppose was a good decision, lol

Here in Canada! EB Games won't do pre-orders here anymore, from what I've been told by a clerk there. Apparently the Retro 3-Pack was up for pre-order for a little while much to everyone's surprise, but only because it was a retailer exclusive.
