If you save it as a png it will keep the background clear like you are wanting.

Sweet idea....this came out beautifully.....I think if you save as a gif you will get a transparent background.

You want the white to be transparent right? you just cut it out put into a new frame, delete the white lowest layer and save it as a PNG...that should do it?

May be if you just use the marquee tool around the frame only. Then there would be no space for that white border. try that hun.
