alrighty so i'm going to end up editing this into what i actually wanted it to look like (mostly shading/the portrait/some animation) but for now a proper description!

Basically I thought that once they made their way upstairs, Jaime managed to find a room with a mostly accessible staircase! They were led there because the piano is actually self playing c:
