Description
The pyramid-like igneous rock, Jake Matijevic. was named after the surface operations systems chief engineer for Curiosity and leading engineer for the previous Mars rovers, Jacob Matijevic, who died days after Curiosity landed on Mars.It's more similar to the rocks found on Earth.
