Lillian Gish, I remember her from a movie called "--- Storm" something...(I forgot the full title.... ). She has a sister right who had a short career.

"Orphans of the Storm", 1922. That film starred both Gish sisters, Dorothy and Lillian. It was about two sisters visiting Paris during the French Revolution. It was D.W. Griffith's last major commercial success. (Don't ask, I'm really into silent cinema).

Dorothy, her sister, wasn't nearly as successful as Lillian. Lillian had a career that stretched 70 years from 1912 to 1987. I think the major difference is that Lillian made the transition into talkies (movies with sound), where Dorothy wasn't nearly as successful in.
