Poster I made to help me remember some of the basic Hiragana characters.I've been trying to learn Japanese on my own for the longest time, but its been hard to find the time to practice...Hopefully now that the winter is coming (and I have to spend more time inside) I will find the time to practice and study.

perhaps a translation would help as well! of course i some what already know these but for others a translation would be nice! thats a pretty poster by the way!

I took one year of Japanese in school and then started teaching myself. That one year made a WORLD of difference. Good luck learning your kana, ne? <3

I had always wanted to take a course in Japanese but I was never able to make it fit into my schedule. So I have been trying to learn on my own from books, CDs (and anime, lol).
Hopefully, the more projects that I work on involving kana will help me remember the characters...I never underestimate the power of art!
