I'm actually working on a remake-thingy for this picture, but with a non-TF2 map, and without weapons.

I can't wait to see it! And technically it's a non-TF2 map, because it's a scenebuild, but yeah, TF2 models and shit, I can see why people will think it's a TF2 map.

Well, to be quite honest, the background. I don't know much about Blender, since I can no longer use it, but is changing the background difficult?
Other than that, though, everything checks out. I don't see anything wrong with the render.

You have to model the scene completely, or import models. As far as I know, there is NO WAY to import .bsp maps into Blender without writing up a script yourself. I was too lazy to model a background, so I imported a picture in as a quadrilateral. Then I lit it up, and use Blender's compositing feature (compositing is post-rendering effects that Photoshop could do, but not as easily) to get the blur effect.

It's fun when I'm not too lazy to do it. Except for making the textures, that takes FOREVER unless if I do it lazily.
