Description I'm trying to make my experiments stand on their own. I bought some artist powdered graphite and applied it with a brush using a little water. This kind of graphite is more finely ground and responds more smoothly. The first graphite I bought is apparently in the category of 'flake' graphite. It is still tricky trying to get smooth gradients. The powder makes for a streak appearance as it comes off the brush. It has an interesting texture to it. It lays down thickly, creating very dark regions, but it's still too uniform in its density. I'm trying for a more variegated look.

It sort of looks to me like it wants a big circle or rings behind it. Maybe I'll add some... what do you think?

Heh, thanks! Yup, it's like looking at one of those B-wings from ROTJ. If I recall correctly, I saw some crazy painting at the Whitney in NYC before I drew this.

But, but, I liked it soooo much that way.

^-^ the sideways mountains actually makes me think of a diffreent world, where tne mountains are truned on their sieds...and there are three suns, each a different colour.
