This was one of the pictures that took way longer than necessary but was one I was waiting to post until after the Dark Lord and the team that fought against him. It was mostly coloring the cloak and the amulet. My favorite part of the whole drawing is her hair though. I wanted to pull off an ombré effect and I think it really worked out.
So, the Great Sage is stuck in a peculiar situation. Her body got possessed by the Dark Curse when she was protecting Ci. I mean, she was saved eventually, but Penelope wasn’t happy. Despite acting sagely and kind on a daily basis, Penelope is incredibly stubborn (if she could be given a personality in Miitopia, it would be stubborn).
Unlike Freddy, who accepted the fact his body was possessed and rarely tried to fight back, Penelope was constantly fighting against the Dark Curse, occasionally talking and trying to get the amulet off so she could be released from the Curse. She freaked out when she and the Dark Curse changed into a sun-like form because she couldn’t find the amulet.
She was not happy that she was forced to steal her baby sister’s face as well as most of Ci’s other friend’s faces. That is a Tale for another time, however.
With combined powers of the Great Sage and the Dark Lord, Darker Lord Penelope is a threatening opponent who can change forms to show off her immense strength. She makes the Dark a Lord shrivel in comparison. As previously mentioned, the Dark Curse was unfortunate enough to find that the Great Sage is incredibly stubborn and does not take possession well. Maintaining the Darker Lord’s form was difficult to two opposing forces trying to keep control.

Try making nova as a darker lord, but with his normal hair, and a lot.... kinder. Have him still keep his lower body, and give him a scarf with the same color scheme the rest of the darker lord has.

Open sandals would work. Try and mix it with Cis story too, like... how nova is the last remaining good within the dark curse, but given life, and maybe, even his teammates would be freed, as well.

I love how her hair turned out too. The Darker Lord's hair is fine, but I thought an ombre effect would look gorgeous on this.
