*instantly gets bricked by wolf fans*wow talk about breaking comfort zones. Long-haired man, check. Animals, check. No lineart, check check check. Was probably a mistake making his hair all long and flowy; reminds me of Inuyasha =/ I tried a different way of doing things, tried to follow some artists' styles i admire, and this was the rushed result. I know, blew it with the wolves. but i was getting really impatient after spending almost a day on this. I'm quite happy with how his hair turned out, though.
got the inspiration from the word βalpha maleβ. what better excuse to draw a naked man living nakedly together with his naked animal pals. being naked, of course. probably the last painting before i head to Tokyo next week!

Reminds me of a story where a young man ran into a haughty alpha wolf in the woods, killed him in self-defense, and inadvertently became the leader of the pack...nobody mourned his death except the ass-licking, almost-as-nasty beta wolf but instantly looked to him for leadership.
