really just a practice piece. scrap-plz? some painfully weak attempt at ehh 'old masters painting style' (esp the contrasting lighting) which didn't quite work out lol i am still a student >.<;; this don't look right to me. d'eon forgive me! i referenced from a wiki pic of the King Louis XV (i think that was who he was) who appears in the anime as well who, excuse my french, is a fecking GORGEOUS man, LOL.btw, Le Chevalier d'Eon is a beautiful anime and an even more engaging manga, which is deserving of far more love 8'DD Wonderfully crafted, indeed. Basically, if you like gender-confused men, this is the one anime for you, HAHA.
beautiful victorian settings, beautiful victorian men... THE FUG, WAD MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR IN THIS WORLD.

haha errr...i'd say, something that looks like it came from the 18th century. famous oil painting portraits of imperial people, with a certain kind of lighting xDD that kinda look, haha~

This is really good and I was just thinking that it would be awesome if you tried one mixing elements from manga/anime d'Eon and real-life d'Eon. The more realistic style of this painting already begins that and I think it could be really cool.

d'Eon!!! I love him! I actually only finished the anime a week ago in one sitting, haha. You've painted d'Eon so pretty. Like his large eyes, haha, though I believe that they're blue-green. I suppose this would be the anime/manga style version of a master study? Oh, and i like your color scheme, it's pretty unified.
