i think my new web site www.ciriljazbec.com is somehow also a turning point which ends one period of my photography and opens new one.... well i hope.
anyway this is a detail from summer at slovenian coast....from first individual school that i am running as well.

Nothin for me clicks with this photo, my eye wanders, it doesnt have a place to rest, no real focal point, i follow the line of the fence but it leads nowhere. The colours also seem a bit muted? I cant really obtain any sort of context, meaning or feel for the photo, perhaps if it is/was part of a series i could but to me this just seems like a random happysnap.

Im sure many will like it, i'm not disputing that, im just giving you some feedback from someone who wasnt particularly grabbed by it. Thats how you grow and develop as a photographer, by having people tell you why they dont like a certain image. Trust me i work at a major metrapolitan newspaper on the photodesk and i show our photographers my stuff all the time and they are brutaly honest

I agree depth of field is very cool, perspective is very dramatic too

like the focus when in full view -- the colours just that little extra to the photo -- that is to be admired -- later days
