I'm so happy I finally made this - making a white Mary Marvel was the very thing that got me into customizing! That's because Eaglemoss made a HUGE mistake when they made their Mary, giving her black "bad girl" look that lasted very briefly and does NOT represent the pure, sweet, innocent character she truly is.
So I wanted a regular Mary for my collection, and here she is.
The most difficult part of this was getting a nice shade of white AND the yellow details took forever too.
The base was repainted on the arms and neck. then I added the sleeves, belt, folds on the boots and the neck thingie that holds the cape, all sculpted in black Milliput clay, then I painted it all.
The cape comes from an original Eaglemoss Captain Marvel figurine, I stripped it of all colors so that I could adapt it to Mary's shoulders without the original paint getting all messy, and once I managed to make it fit I repainted it.

She's so strong here -- love it, and I agree! Black Mary Marvel was...one of the worst decisions EVER. And that's saying a LOT considering all the crap DC's done lately -_-;;

Very nicely done. I have the Black Mary statue myself. I love Mary for her sweet pureness, but that Black Mary is such a good design I had to buy the statue.
