Sedge follows the patrol, the last light of the day turning their white feathers to gold.
Already the stars were coming out, and the wind brushed the trees like an other lady brushing her hair. Distant purple mountains stand regally at the edge of his vision.
Ever since he'd run across the patrol he had felt a sense of dread. He was alarmed at their metal talons, yet allured at the same time. He was a Kraal by hatching, shiny things naturally attracted him. But the potency of the weapons had its own special power.
In short, he was, and is overjoyed. They'd studied him carefully, taking in the traces of orange dye and the broken primary as if every small detail was important.
And they'd accepted him. Frink but it felt good to be accepted.

So there's my rushed story and my rushed picture, my time was cut off due to my ban and so I had no choice but to post this.

This is about the fourth try I've done, each with different characters. I'm pretty happy about it at the stage it's in but wish I had more time.
(thank god for Sta.sh, I almost just lost this whole thing!)

History: Hatched by a small tribe of Kraals on the H'rathgar Glacier, Sedge quickly learned their customs and superstitions. However, His tribe was scattered by another group of owls and Sedge was blown into the northern part of the Beaks. Somehow missing the mirror lakes entirely, he wandered into Tyto where he is found by a Pure Ones patrol.
Personality: young, impressionable, though he will likely keep his superstition and accent. proficeint at fast, silent flying. despite his admiration of battle claws he struggles not to show that he finds them heavy and cumbersome. Likely to get excited or scared.
