thanks dude, her colour was an absolute mare to get right.. in the end the formula was mostly red, with a tiny bit of black added and then some white to brighten it a bit.. Crown do a colour called Scarlet Ribbon though, which when mixed with a little white comes out a nice cheerilee colour

I know it was, I watched your thread

Still you worked it out and all's well
How'd you mix the paints?

It is a brilliant end result.

i just pour them out the pot onto glossy cardboard and mix them with the brush, causes the paint to dry very fast doing it this way so you have to paint quickly, there's probably a better way tbh

Ah, that's how I do it

Thought you had a special mixing pot thing

Still you do a great job on each of them.

for that sculpey twi i used a little pot and a CD case over the top of it to keep it air tight, mixed purple and white in it and it stayed useable for about four days but i only did that cause i had a larger surface to paint

That's genius verging on criminal...

May try that someday.

Or maybe browse the section of Vallejo paints

For the most part I use the Revell Aqua Colour, but if I need a more exotic pastel colours I venture into Vallejo.
