I really like this color combo - it suggests youth and vibrancy - at least for me. I really like the kinda strict sorta structured horizontal vertical energy in this painting juxtaposed with these unexpected moments of curvature and random streakiness. Even tho it's a computer screen, i can see the thick layers of paint that give such texture, and even lend a wieghtiness yet, the colors and the energy keep things buoyant. It's really a meditation of contrasts even tho you wouldn't thing it to look at it casually - which in itself is a contrast - ack! - i'm floundering in my verbosity - i really like it, it's cool.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful commentary and compliments! The texture is actually joint compound - it really makes for interesting results. I apply it and let it dry and then paint over it.

You did a really great job of capturing it, and making a digital image. It must've been really hard to create an image that allowed the texturing to come thru like that.
