I had to use smoke for the laser, yeah.. I just discovered the beauty of smoke and lights. So I'm having a blast with that. Everything else didn't need smoke: the el-wire, flashlight, accent lighting. -shrugs- Maybe I'll figure out a way to be that awesome someday XD
