Dr. Eggman (born September 10, 3189), also known as Julian Kintobor, is an overlander who is Sonic's arch nemesis and is an alternate future counterpart of Dr. Robotnik, Sonic's previous foe. Before becoming the well known Eggman, he was originally named Robotnik from an alternate future where Sonic and the Freedom Fighters defeated him in their final battle, even after roboticizing himself into Robo-Robotnik. Unbeknownst to the fighters, his digital consciousness was transported to a space station he build and ended up in a monitor for him to roam around in. 20 years later, in 3255, Robotnik Prime was transported to Robo-Robotnik's spaceship from his renegade creation E.V.E and had a meeting with him about their failures. By sending Robotnik back to the prime universe, Robo-Robotnik still stood a chance; During the process of teleporting Robotnik to his zone, he scanned a piece of memory from his brain where he can locate one of the pieces of the Giant Borg in his own timeline. He transports the piece to his spaceship and constructed the part into a new body for him to put his consciousness inside. Now moving with a mobile body again after two decades, he created a missile and nuked Mobotropolis, killing Sonic, his royal family, and all the citizens in the process. Though he was successful in his goal, Robo-Robotnik had nothing to do, and hearing about Robotnik Prime being erased from existence, he travels to the Prime Universe to live in and take over that universe instead. As he lost in his very first fight with the Freedom Fighters, his body was destroyed again and his consciousness was transported to this time an android body that resembles the deceased dictator, but in a different body shape. He's now an organic human being after the bem race de-roboticized everyone on Planet Mobius, making him lose his ability to mind jump into robotic bodies. After that, Eggman has been fighting Sonic countless times and will never rest until he beats that hedgehog.
