Don't worry guys.. Hector got you covered!There, watercolored art, edited in PS UuU
It was strongly inspired by "Iron" by Woodkid, whom just released a follow up on the song, called "Run boy Run".
Some back story:
They are from an apocalyptic world, where only the strongest survives. There's an illness on the loose, and in his quest to find some kind of cure, some kind of HOPE, Dexter meets a lot of interesting people. Like Dante, the stuck up, arrogant man from the rubbish heap, or Hector, the kid he took in when he was only a kid himself. Let's hope they can make a change for the better, their world really needs it.
Dante is the guy with the horns and tail..
Hector, is the dude in the background and Dexter is the one leading the way.
I guess they're being chased or something.

I love the color palette here, and they layout in general! The canvas size is so short and there are a lot of details crowding to picture, but it really works and doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. Just really nice composition <3

thank you! i was afraid to overdo it. I was struggling with the colortone a bit as well, but i'm happy it paid off to work a bit extra on it!

I find color so frustrating in general so I really admire people who can make it look natural/easy. I think the contrast with the bright yellow highlights is really what brought it together for me here. And about the over-doing it, I can see where that might come up, but the background buildings have just enough lack of detail that it doesn't overwhelm, and the forefront figures become distinct from it because of how much bigger they are perspective wise so you don't get the kind of confusion that might come with a detailed picture.

>u< yes.. it's kind of futuristic, so they have new technology, not to mention that there are different "cities" completely cut off from each-other, so they develop different technology and focuses on different things o uo depending on the people that's in quarantine together. yeyyy!!! the place Dexter is from they focused on large machines to defend themselves in case of attacks from other cities or "outside" people >u< So he's really skilled with mechanics OuO *blabbering away *

well.. an epidemic broke loose, and so the different countries had to build up quarantines to not get sick.. the thing is, those that were left out or already became sick, they had children and had to build up their own world outside the quarantines. So they eventually became immune. So the isolation plans kind of backfired in a way? XD BUT i'm not sure how i'm gonne explain how certain people survived the epidemic and others didn't. And it doesn't even have to be a virus, it could be nuclear power as well.. Anyways.. Dexter is one of the people that is immune because his mother had a secret love life with an outsider. This also results in the death of the whole quarantine he lived in. there's a lot of facts to get straight yet, but that is kind of the first draft xD

NNNGHRFEHIFERHF this is so awesome, and especially to me who can seee theee originalllll and it's so cool and detailed and awesome and cool @u@ I love the dynamic poses and the atmosphere and the colors and your awesome skills and Dexter looks so cute xD And I really like Dante's hair =u=
Only one thing, I think maybe it would look a bit better if the area where they are in shadow, was darker/not so glowy? The nice lines and the watercolor effects disappears a bit D: But you should keep the glow around the edges, of course, I really like that @u@
